LET'S GET STARTED

The design consultation is the launching pad for every new project. During the first meeting we will discuss the scope of your project, your design preferences and goals as well as your budget. We will ask you questions to learn about your tastes, your lifestyle, and how you intend to use each space, so that we can create a design plan that seamlessly fits your lifestyle and needs. Creating realistic budget, detailing the design process, and addressing any questions and concerns you might have is ideal during the initial consultation. We strongly recommend that all decision makers are present at this meeting.

LETTER OF AGREEMENT

A Letter of Agreement or “contract” is created based on the initial consultation and the scope of work specified.  The LOA will include our services and fee structure for your project. This will need to be mutually agreed upon and signed by both parties before moving onto the next phase.  A retainer and/or design fee will be required before any work commences.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Carefully considered space planning is crucial to a well designed home or place of business. During this phase, we will develop ideal floor plans, take thorough site measurements and create a custom tailored plan to ensure every detail of your space is considered. Colors and finishes are refined, furniture, fabrics and equipment are selected and cost estimates are prepared. The resulting design is presented to the client for review, revision and final approval. We will discuss the JRI vision and your vision to ensure we have met all of your expectations. We will work collaboratively to narrow down the best options for each of your spaces. Detailed proposals and pricings will be provided and a purchasing plan will be set in motion.

CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION

Coordination, administration and project management during this phase ensures everything goes smoothly and is executed per our design specifications. We will be reviewing the technical drawings from vendors and making regular site visits to oversee construction, installations, and furniture deliveries. This is where you really start to see your vision become a reality!

WELCOME HOME

A final walk through is performed with Joy and her team to ensure that the end result meets your expectations.  The feedback you provide during this phase is valuable and important to us. This communication helps us create a Punch List of items that need to be addressed and finishing touches are installed to complete your project.  We also will set up a day to do a professional photo shoot, so that your project can be featured on our website and social media.
